Ā My name is Mone' (Queen Monae') and I'm from a small town in South Carolina, born and raised a fellow carolinian.Ā I'm a 18Ā year old teen-entrepreneur, social media influencer, & the CEO/Creator of "Queen Monae' Cosmetics". I have always had a love & passion for all things girly, self & body care ever since i was born, and that's why I decided to open up my own business "Queen Monae' CosmeticsĀ ".
āQueen Monae' Cosmeticsā was just a dream (as some may call it) every since January 2021. Before I decided to take the leap of faith, I researched for months and thought long and hard about if this was something I indeed wanted to do. I knew that I was sure about being COMPLETELY Ā hands on when it came to the cosmetics/products I added to my site. I wanted to see how my products are being made, where my products are being made and most of all, WHOāS MAKING THEM. After going back and forth with myself for months, I finally took that leap and not only released my website to the public at the age of 16, but decided to make and do everything on my own!Ā
Some might ask "How Could Have A 16 Year Old Teenager Make A Website In Quarantine, While Still Doing Virtual High School Online, In The Middle of A Pandemic? Well, I shed blood, sweat, tears, prayers, & many sleep less nights while still managing my scholars at my high school, and dealing with my own life. I created everything to the base of my website to the very end. I kept telling myself its time to be your own independent Boss Queen, because in school they teached you what career path will best fit for you, based on how your academics look and what job best fitsĀ you. I didn't want that mind set, so I said to myself what career/job path was I going to create for myself for me and who ever wants to support me, and thats why I create my own business "Queen Monae' Cosmetics".
Iāve had an EXCITING experience so far! (Of course some high and lows) but the love and support from all my king's & queen's have really kepted a place in my heart, and I donāt regret it one bit! Iāve cried, prayed, hoped and loved over my business since I opened, and canāt wait to see whatās in store for me & my king's and queen's, later down the road!
